The Eureka Inn sounds like a hoot! Ah, isn’t the journey the destination! Mine was a most enjoyable morning with you hiking the East Fork of the Cold Spring Trail and conversation over a cup of joe at the Milpas McDonald’s in Santa Barbara. This Saturday’s blog recounts those good times.
And the planning that goes into a hike! The meal prep and sending out resupply boxes! You could teach the master class in such preparations. Hike well my friend.
Thanks Dan! Next time we hike, bring Hannah and I’ll try to show up at the right trailhead????.
And I think I enjoy the planning of my treks almost as much as I do hiking them. It’s kind of an expedition of one, me. But it takes much the same planning as if there were 10 people going. Happy trail to you and Hannah!
The enjoyment that your long distance hiking prep gives you reminds how much I love the draft process of my writing. The daily joy to shape and mold a blog gives me such joy.
