Does the bike ride with your son along the C&O Canal Towpath take you to Harper’s Ferry, WV and then on to Pittsburgh? Your BnB stops sound right up Dan and Hannah’s alley. Look forward to seeing you when you come north of LA!
Hey Dan, we are riding the C and O Canal from Cumberland, Maryland into DC. We will pass through Harpers Ferry on our trip. There is a bike trail all the way to Pittsburgh, but we elected to start in Cumberland, which is a little more than halfway between Pittsburgh and DC. I, of course, would love to camp, but that greatly increases the complexity and logistics of the trip. So Airbnb‘s and restaurants will have to serve. I know, tough life.
